Ingredients

50g unsalted Grand Fermage butter
250g flour
3 eggs
60g sugar
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
300ml milk
1 sachet baking powder
Pinch of salt

Preparation

Melt the butter.

In a mixing bowl combine the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and salt.

Make a well in the centre, break in the eggs and then add 100ml of the milk.

Whisk together, starting in the centre and moving toward the edges.

Gradually pour in the rest of the milk while stirring, until a smooth mixture is formed.

Pour in the melted butter and mix one more time.

Heat your waffle iron and grease with melted butter using a brush or piece of kitchen roll.

Cook your waffles for 4 – 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
